When thinking about making a will, most people want to provide for loved ones into the future. But in addition to looking after those we care about most, it is also worth considering leaving a gift to Southwinds, Inc. so that we can continue to make a long-lasting and significant impact on the lives of individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Legacy gift options can include naming Southwinds in your will or living trust, charitable gifts such as stocks, bonds, real estate and personal property. Or you can name Southwinds a beneficiary of your life insurance, pension plan or IRA. Some charitable gifts may actually save your estate money by decreasing inheritance taxes.
Contact your financial advisor, attorney or accountant and ask for help in establishing a legacy gift to Southwinds. We understand that leaving a legacy gift is a very personal and private decision, and one that you may wish to remain confidential. We assure you that Southwinds will maintain your confidence if you so desire.
